Teaching method

The teacher always motivates the students before beginning the class by using games. For example, the teacher brings some game about vocabulary that they have learned during the last lesson. After that, the teacher shows a topic before beginning class by open PowerPoint. Sometimes the teacher will bring some videos or pictures that related to the content or topic that the student must study. Then ask questions to introduce to the lesson. The teacher assigns the content to students for their observation. When the students have already known what they have to know, they can understand the lesson and have participated with the teacher and their friends. Giving an assignment is very necessary to make sure that they are can and apply it in their class. Normally, the teacher usually gives them an assignment and they have to complete it within the class, instead of giving them homework. Sometimes, the teacher divides the student to work in groups to discuss that topic and to check student understanding.

Learning Materials and Innovation

The teachers always teach the topic from the textbook. The teacher will use PowerPoint to teach the students and bring some videos, pictures, conversations that related to the content or that topic to make the students easy to understand.

Sources of learning and technology

Each room has an instructional media for learning, such as a projector, whiteboard, computer, and loudspeaker. The teacher sometimes uses them to show the lesson and explains some difficult content. Sometimes the student can use their laptop to search for information about that topic while they study.

Authentic assignment

There are 2 kinds of assessments in the classroom, the activeness and the written assessment of the students. In measuring or scoring the activeness of the students, the teachers usually give questions to the students about the topic that they while study to measure the comprehension of the students about the lesson. Meanwhile, in written assessment, the teachers make some questions and then the students have to write their answers in their notebook and hand in it to the teacher after finish class. The teacher needs to make sure whether the students can answer the questions correctly or not.
